getting over it

I wanted to watch the new Angel last night. But suddenly, my life actually seemed more attractive than sitting still alone for an hour. So I actually turned off the television, fixed my hair, and hung out with my housemate for a while before going out with the other one.

I suppose my life is kind of like a TV show now, except better. Granted it's focusing more on character development than plot, but hey, what can you do.

Chosing life over tv is always good. Angel is on a revenge tirade, Cordelia is still on vacation, Fred and Gunn figured out why Wesley did it, found him, he's recovering in the hospital. Sahjan "rewrote" the prophecy to say "the father will kill the son," since the real prophecy was that Connor was going to destroy Sahjan. Nothing as brilliant as the talking hamburger in this one. But 5 more new episodes in the coming weeks.

Angel took a lawyer hostage, and Lilah and he went up to "the white room," a vast, blank space, reachable by the secret combination in the elevator. A little girl gave him instructions on the ritual to make Sahjan have form in this dimension. Very creepy little girl. You can read about the plot and catch up, but the white room and the creepy little girl is the only part you just had to see.
