I'm trying to remember... Meth used to be much more obscure when we were kids, I think. The scourge then was crack and/or speed my lizard brain reports.

(nearly) everything I needed to know about drugs my dad told me, from his first hand experience. Five years of rave-planning taught me the rest. I think I only had two years of DARE, and only then when I was in early middle school/late elem.

Yeah I think 3rd Eye Blind really brought it into the forefront. I don't remember hearing about it before "Semicharmed life".
